Last month, Pigtown Main Street assembled a team of Pigtown residents (including Citizens of Pigtown: Historic Pigtown’s Community Association members), small business owners, Baltimore Police Department officers, city officials and graduate students to be trained in SafeGrowth, an innovative public safety tool that is making communities safer around the world. Join Pigtown Main Street for its 5th Annual Bloom the Boulevard event held on Earth Day, April 22, 2017.  We’re looking for volunteers to help us collect litter, plant flowers and trees, and spread mulch along the 700-1300 blocks of Washington Boulevard.  Volunteers will meet up at 9am on the corner lot of Washington Boulevard & W.
