Public Safety Presentation

Last month, Pigtown Main Street assembled a team of Pigtown residents (including Citizens of Pigtown: Historic Pigtown’s Community Association members), small business owners, Baltimore Police Department officers, city officials and graduate students to be trained in SafeGrowth, an innovative public safety tool that is making communities safer around the world. Next 1st Saturdays Community Block Cleanup in Pigtown MARCH 4

Each month, volunteers gather on the 1st Saturday to clean a designated area in Pigtown that needs cleaning and/or greening. On March 4, from 9am-12noon, we will focus our cleanup efforts on the 900 and 1000 blocks of West Barre Street (off 700 block of Washington Boulevard) including the Eislen Street alleyway (behind the 700 block of Washington Boulevard) After the cleanup, all volunteers enjoy a free lunch and receive two drink tickets for their hard work!
