Last month, Pigtown Main Street assembled a team of Pigtown residents (including Citizens of Pigtown: Historic Pigtown’s Community Association members), small business owners, Baltimore Police Department officers, city officials and graduate students to be trained in SafeGrowth, an innovative public safety tool that is making communities safer around the world.
Over the past month, our team has applied the principles of SafeGrowth to four projects in Pigtown. Join us on March 30 from 6-8 pm to learn about these projects. The presentation will be held at George Washington Elementary‘s Weinberg Library. Light refreshments will be provided.
This program is generously supported by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
