Cheat Day Bar & Grill @737 Carroll Street (formerly the Pigtown Tavern) will have its Grand Opening Saturday, January 21, at 8PM, with drink and food specials, including Happy Hour prices from 8-10PM. Brewery Coming to Pigtown in Spring 2017
Suspended Brewing Company plans to open its doors at 912 Washington Boulevard in Spring 2017. Plans include a lab suspended above a walk in cooler and bar area. “Suspended Brewing Company is hard at work to open its doors in Pigtown,” said President Yasmin Karimian. “We recently received our building permit and are excited to begin the build out!”  suspendedbrewing.com

Pigtown Main Street will discuss Green Infrastructure and Pedestrian Enhancements.

Pigtown Main Street has paired with Mahan Rykiel Associates Inc. and CityScape Engineering to create a green infrastructure design plan. The plan includes building storm water bump outs along Washington Boulevard. These structures filter runoff to reduce pollutants entering the Chesapeake Bay. The bump outs will also serve to enhance aesthetics on the Boulevard as well as promote traffic calming and pedestrian safety at intersections.

Clean Corps Baltimore is a peer-to-peer network of city neighborhoods, working in partnership with the City and nonprofits to reduce trash and litter in their communities.Pigtown Main Street recently partnered with Clean Corps Baltimore to recruit block captains who can educate their neighbors and engage them in community cleanups, art projects and advocacy. Clean Corps members can help coordinate monthly block cleanups and distribute information and resources to residents committed to having clean streets and alleys.Interested? Join Clean Corps for an information sharing session Wednesday, Jan.11, 6-7:30PM at the Baltimore Design School, 1500 Barclay Street. Topics of discussion will be:
